1. What cookies does the Portal use?
The Portal uses only cookies and similar technologies strictly necessary for it to work, so no prior consent is needed for them. It uses no analytics, marketing or advertising cookies and loads no third-party cookies. The visitor statistics use neither cookies nor identifiers: only a count per page and day is stored.
The details of the processing are in the Privacy notice.
2. The Portal's cookies
- __Host-nc-session: keeps the user signed in (the session); set by the Portal; 30 days, deleted on signing out.
- __Secure-nc-oidc: secures a sign-in in progress; set by the Portal; 10 minutes.
- NEXT_LOCALE: remembers the chosen language; set by the Portal; 1 year.
- The sign-in service's cookies (for example AUTH_SESSION_ID, KEYCLOAK_IDENTITY, KEYCLOAK_SESSION): make sign-in and password management work; set by the Portal's own, Keycloak-based sign-in service; at most until the end of the sign-in session.
3. Local storage in the browser
In the browser's local storage, under keys starting with "nitro-campus:", the Portal keeps the questionnaire's state, the recommended learning path and progress, and a few conveniences (for example that the cookie note was closed). These stay on the user's device until the user deletes them; data saved to the account is removed from the browser on signing out.
4. Signing in with a Google account
When signing in with a Google account, Google handles its own cookies on Google's site under Google's rules.
5. Deleting and blocking cookies
Cookies and local storage can be deleted or blocked in the browser's settings. In that case some functions of the Portal, in particular signing in, keeping the session and the language setting, may not work, or may not work properly.
